Obituary
Mr. Alvis Gene "Scooter" Kiser was born on March 19, 1963, in Athens, Texas to the parentage of Fredrick and Ola Esther Rockmore. He received his education and graduated from Athens I.S.D. He met and married Alma Williams and to this union, one child was born (Tamika Kiser). He was employed with Knott Processing Company. Alvis professed a faith in Christ at an early age; becoming a member of Mount Moriah Baptist Church in Athens, TX.
Alvis is survived by his sons DeAlvis Kiser and Skyler Kiser; daughters Tamika Kiser and Krista Cloud; stepson Jerrell Williams; brothers David, Tony, and Samuel; sisters Emma, Esther, Patricia, and Barbara; special grandson Peyton "Buddy" Kiser, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Alvis was a kind, loving, giving, strong, and a hard-working man. He loved his family, children, and grandchildren. He will truly be missed.
